What’s happening on the farm?

Hello again, this is Liz Bohle from the Sustainable Agriculture Marketing class.

This week on the farm was all about harvesting. During Fall Crop Production class we were able to harvest a plentiful array of colors from the cherry red radishes and purple rutabagas to the large white turnips and lovely green cabbage and broccoli. This weeks CSA will be bountiful with lots of fall colors and delicate greens.

During the following weeks we will be harvesting more turnips, kale, broccoli, rutabaga, radishes, cabbage, and soon to join will be carrots, which by the way are sweet and delicious.
